Jorge Méndez-Cáceres is a Founding Director of For Everyday Life (FE.L), a design studio with offices in London and New York. At FE.L, he leads collaborations with international brands, creating innovative, sustainable design solutions that blend creativity with strategic thinking. His work at FE.L reflects a commitment to pushing the boundaries of design while fostering global partnerships.
Before co-founding FE.L, Jorge began his career in architecture and design with stints at renowned firms like Heatherwick Studio and Zaha Hadid Architects, contributing to landmark projects in cities such as London, New York, Milan, and Hong Kong. He later held leadership roles as Creative Director at BDG and Senior Associate at Jump Studios, overseeing large-scale, innovative projects across Tel Aviv, Dubai, New York, Detroit, Atlanta, Toronto, and Belgrade.
In addition to his professional work, Jorge shares his expertise as a visiting tutor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, following his teaching tenure at the Architectural Association in London. His creative interests extend beyond architecture into tableware and cutlery design, showcased in his unique "Food and Architecture" seminars.
